brumbies

Greetings!
I'm brumbies, or in other words, a 14 year old girl (though I like to think as nearly 15) who lives in the gorgeous country of Australia. I love all sorts of art - performing arts, such as band performances and acts, visual arts, like drawing, reading and writing, digital art such as photography and most of all, the art that is not seen nor touched; but felt with the heart.
I love music, my favourite bands include The Fray and Coldplay, I love their style of music, it's so different. Occasionally I'll have a listen to Imagine Dragons, The Killers or even One Direction, but I gotta hand it to you - The Fray are just incredible, their songs are new every time. <3
I play lots of music too, piano which I've taught myself, flute, which I'm in the Show band, Class band and hopefully Chapel band for with school, drums, which I just like to muck around on but someday I want to be really good, and guitar, which, again, I've taught myself, and I'm learning a lot everyday. I also love singing, I've only recently developed enough courage for singing aloud around about late last year, and I match some songs with my guitar or piano with to learn.
I'm very passionate about sports too. I love horse riding, I don't go often but when I do I don't waste a minute in the saddle. I ride all sorts of horses at my riding centre, but my favourites have been a TB named Miller, and a chestnut (don't know the breed), named Morgan. Those two horses have just touched my heart.
I love hockey, I am hoping to play for the under 18s this year, it's really exciting. If I lived in a place where there's a local ice rink, I would be nuts about ice hockey too. Unfortunately for me, living in Australia does have some downsides. But not many. :)
I swim on a regular basis, once a week at least, and I'm in the squads and at the second-from-the-highest level in the program. I hope to move up sometime, and I think I'll be getting there eventually if I push myself.
Rugby is another one of my interests. Being an Aussie, it's practically a rule that you have to know how to kick a football. Where I live in Aus, not many people like rugby, everyone's into AFL here. So I go nuts when I meet someone with the same interest in rugby as me. I don't play it, I'm just a spectator. My username was kinda named after the Brumbies - my favourite super rugby team - but the horses, too.
Finally, I like to run. Not competitively, just run. I like to just wake up and run. That's all. I'm not a very competitive person. I also like to ride my bike places - it totally beats cars!
Hm... what else about me? I like reading and writing, I'm a huge fan of narrative writing.
I have quite a few pets; One black cat named Gizmo, one ginger kitten named Archie. Their both very young, and VERY cute. Both of them are/were quite sick when they were kittens, but with my family's help, they've pulled through great.
I have a beagle named Bilbo, he's a dufas. I used to have a gorgeous kelpie cross named Dodger, but he grew old and passed on. I miss him so much and his departure still pains me, even though it's been 2 years.
I also have a Siamese Fighter Fish named Jellybean, he's awesome. Couldn't leave him out!
I've got a lot of interests, as you can see, and I could probably list heaps more, but I won't.
I love art to bits and I think it's the most spectacular thing in the world - the way it moves and shapes people, what it can do, what emotions it can immerse, and what it can leave behind.
